Union Territory. Chandigarh Is plea.,cd It accord approval for die implementation ofDirect Benefit Transfer (DB f) Scheme for ftmdgt in Union Territory of Chandigarh. Under this scheme, the cash subsidy amount will transferred directly into bank accounts ofthe eligible beneficiaries. With the implementation of the DDT scheme for foodgrains, there will He y categories of beneficiaries i.c. Priority Households (PH) and Antyodaya Anna oj.ina ( Households and other categories stands omitted. Also, the distribution of subsidized discontinued. The benefit of cash subsidy in lieu of foodgrains will be given to the c 1. households through their Aadltar seeded bank accounts on the basis equivalent entitlements on the following:- The Priority Households shall be entitled to receive the cash subsidy amount equivalent to 5 kg. of foodgrains (in the ratio of 3:2 for wheat and rice respectively) per inember/unit/month. The Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) Households shall be entitled to receive the cash subsidy umount equivalent to the quantity of 35 kg. food grains (in the ralion of3:2 for wheat and rice respectively) per houschold/month.
