HARYANA GOVERNMENT ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE DEPARTMENT Notification The 1st August, 2022 No. 2/20/2016-1Env.— In exercise of powers conferred by Section 64 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Central Act 6 of 1974), the Governor of Haryana, after consulting the Haryana State Pollution Control Board, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1978, namely:- (1) Theses rules may be called the Haryana Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Amendment Rules, 2022. These rules shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazzette. In the Haryana Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1978, in rule 23, in sub-rule (1), in clause (A), in sub-clause (i), for the words "retired District and Session Judge", the words "sitting or retired Judge of High Court" shall be substituted.
