HARYANA GOVERNMENT TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING DEPARTMENT Notification The 28th November, 2022 No. 1/51/2021-1TCP.— In Exercise of power available under Section 44 Sub-section (1) of the PMDA Act, 2021 and as per Section 42(5) of PMDA Act, 2021, the Governor of Haryana directs that the duty on the transfer of immovable properties situated within the limits of the Panchkula Metropolitan area notified by the Government on dated 08 Mar, 2022 & within the limits of the Municipal Corporation, Panchkula, shall, in addition to the duty imposed under the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, be at the rate of 1 per centum of the amounts specified on every instrument of the description specified in Section 44 Sub-section (1) of PMDA Act, 2021 and as per Section 42(5) of PMDA Act, 2021. The duty shall be collected, at the time of Registration of documents by the Registrar or Sub-registrar under the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 and paid to the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority.
