16 Recognition of Minority status to Minority Educational Institutions In the state of Rajasthan Procedure, Terms and Conditions of Recognition. Government of Rajasthan Minorities Affairs Department, Secretriat, Jaipur date 18-04-2013 Read: 1JThe National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act 2004, 2) Government order No. F4 (1) MAW/2O13/5141,Minority Affairs Department dated 1Sth April 2013 Government Resolution: The simplification of the procedure for according the recognition of Minority Stalus to Educationat (nstitutiorsouai by Mincectesitoajasfleaig,Ouas ieeuistid been under consideration of the state government for some time_ Accordingly in consultation stakeholders and with all taking into account the various directions passed by the Hon Supreme Court in this behalf, the Government of Rajasthan hereby regulates the procedure and conditions for according recognition of Religious/Linguistic Minority status to the educational institutionsrun by Minorities in the state of Rajasthan as under: Competent Authority to accord Recognition of Minority status The Principal Secretary Minorities Affairs Department; has been declared by the State Government by the order No. FA (1) MAW/2013/5141 dated 1Sth April 2013,as the Competent Authority in Rajasthan, to accord recognition of Religious/ Linguistic Minority status Educational Institutions. to I Eligibility Criteria for Recognition i) Those institutions which have been granted recognition a5 a Minority Educational Institution, by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, New Delhi, order of or by the any Court, need not apply again for recognition under these provisions.
