In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section and Clauses (h) and (m) of sub-section (2) of Section 102 of the Consumer Protection Act; 2019 (Central Act 35 of 2019), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules, namely: - Short title and 1. These rules may be called the Haryana Consumer Protection (Salary, allowances and commencement conditions of service of President and Members of the State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2021. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official gazette_ Definitions 2_ In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires; Act means the Consumer Protection Act; 2019 (Central Act 35 of 2019); 'Member' means the Member of the State Commission or the District Commission, as the case may be; 'President' means the President of the State Commission or the District Commission, as the case may be; The words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the same meaning respectively assigned to them in the Act: Salaries and 3.
