Short title and Commencement-(l) These regulations may be called the Dentists (Code ofEthics) Regulations, 1976. They shall come into force on the date oftheir publication in the Official Gazette. Definitions-In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires- (a) 'Act' means the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948); (b) 'Council' means the Dental Council ofIndia; (c) All expressions used and not defined in these regulations shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Act.
