Government DEPARTMENT OF of Haryana ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE CHANGE Order In pursuance of Rule 5 (6) (i) of Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules, 2017 issued by Government of India, constitute the Governor of Haryana is pleased to Grievance Committee" under Wetland Authority as mechanism for hearing and forwarding the grievances raised by the public for wetlands falling under their respective jurisdiction The = Grievance Committee will consist of the following: 1 DC of respective district 2 Revenue Tehsildar of Chairman 3 District respective district Member Attorney of resy 4 pective district Member Representative from Development & Panchayats Department; Member Haryana 5 Representative from Irrigation and Water Resources Member Department; Haryana Secretary The Grievance Committee s functions, besides the directions/ guidelines given; from time to time, will be: 1. To redress the grievances at the local level and to recommend to the Authority for the finality of decisions. 2 The meeting of this Committee for the cases referred to by the Wetland Authority shall be held at least once every quarter o earlier s0 as to comply with time limit O other guidelines, and proceedings presented in the next meeting of the Wetland Authority: 3_ The Committee should consider the matters as per the provisions contained in the Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules, 2017.
