(25) Parliamentary Affairs Department Notification Jaipur, October 22, 1981 GSR 70-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 read with sub-section (2) and (5) of section 6A of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 6 of 1957), the State Government hereby makes the following rules with respect to the use ad maintenance of State Cars placed at the disposal of such Officers of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and for the payment of travelling allowance to them , namely 1 Short tte - These rules may be called the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Officers (Travelling Allowances and Use and Maintenance of State Car) Rules, 1981. 2 Applicability:- Rule 3 of these rules shall apply to the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and also to Government Chief Whip and the Deputy Government Chief Whip who are hereinafter referred to as the said Officers and rule 4 of these rules shall apply to the Leader of the Opposition. 3 Facility of State Car and travelling allowances: In the matter of use and maintenance of the State Car to be provided to the said Officers under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 6A of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 6 of 1957) and grant of travelling and daily allowances to the said Officers under sub-section (5) of section 64 of the said Act, the provisions contained in the Rajasthan Ministers (Travelling Allowances and Use and Maintenance of Conveyance) Rules, 1974 for the time being in force shall mutatis mutandis apply . 4 Travelling allowance to the Leader of the Opposition.= The Leader of the Opposition shall be entitled to travelling and daily allowance as admissible to Minister Rule TOC
