Notifications|BEE 4 Star Labeled Agri Pump Sets Mandatory.doc GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENVIRONMENT & NON-CONVENTIONAL ENERGY NOTIFICATION Dated, Chandigarh, the No. 2/123/05-STE(3) In partial modification of notification dated 20"h January 6"h February, 2006 issued vide no. 2/123/05-STE3/370 dated 20.1.2006 and in exercise of the power conferred under Section 18 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001) , the Governor of Punjab is pleased to substitute Para IIl of said orders as under - IIL. Mandatory use of minimum BEE 4 star labelled and ISI marked motor pump sets, Power capacitors, Footl Reflex valves in Agriculture Sector: 1 For all new tube-well connections, the use of minimum BEE 4 star labelled and ISI marked motor pump-sets and accessories will be mandatory. 2 Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) will make the amendments in the load demand notices for tube-well connections within two months time from the date of issue of this order to ensure use of only minimum BEE 4 star labelled and ISI marked motor pump-sets in the state_ This amendment shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the official Gazette_ Dated, Chandigarh, the 7 ~(2- 2 1/ Viswajeet Khanna Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Science, Technology, Environment and Non-Conventional Energy Endst No. 2/123/05-STE3/ Dated A copy is forwarded to the Controller , Printing & Stationery, Punjab, Chandigarh with a request to publish the above order in the ORDINARY GAZETTE of Punjab Government and send 50 copies thereof for official use to this department: Additional (Secretary Dated 18| XI Endst No. 2/123/05-STE3/ 3930 copy is forwarded to the followiz;z ivi # format
