GOVERNMENT OF RAJASTHAN TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT No. F 7(273)/Pari/Rules/H.Q./2007/23257 Jaipur, Dated:03.11.2016 NOTIFICATION Whereas the draft of the Rajasthan Motor Vehicles (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2016, amending the Rajasthan Motor Vehicles Rules, 1990, in exercise of the powers powers conferred by section 138 read with section 211 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act No. 59 of 1988) was published as required by sub-section (1) of section 212 of the said Act, in the Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary part 3(Kha) dated 03.08.2016 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of fifteen days from the date on which the copies of this notification as published in Rajasthan Gazette were made available to the public; And whereas, copies of the said notification were made available to the public on 17.08.2016; And whereas, no objection & suggestion received on the said draft rules. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by 138 read with section 211 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act No. 59 of 1988), the State Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Motor Vehicles Rules, 1990, namely:- Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Motor Vehicles (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2016. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. Amendment of rule 8.8.- The existing sub-rule (1-A) of rule 8.8 of the Rajasthan Motor Vehicles Rules, 1990 shall be substituted by the following, namely:- "(1-A) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify the service charges for the services such as weighment, data entry, loading and unloading of goods, parking and other allied services offere
