Conditions for grant of exemptions:-~A person receiving instructions in driving a motor vehicle shall be exempted during training, from the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) , subject to the following conditions, that (a) such person is a trainee undergoing training in an Industrial Training Institute approved by Central or State Government and driving a lighi motor vehicle with a written permission of the head of an Industrial Training Institute; (b) Such person is driving a motor vehicle under the supervisi
