(Published in the Official Gazette Series –I No.3 (Extraordinary) dated 19-4-2002) Government of Goa Department of Public Health -- - Notification 13/79/87 -I/PHD (Part) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Goa Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy Council Act, 2001 (Goa Act 63 of 2001), the Government of Goa hereby appoints the sixteenth day of April, 2002, as the date on which the said Act shall come into force. Notification No. 13/79/87 -I/PHD In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3, 4 and 6 of the Goa Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy Act, 2001 (Goa Act No. 63 of 2001) the Government of Goa is pleased to establish the Goa Board of Indian System of medicine and homoeopathy consisting of following members, with immediate effect. 1 · Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Goa Homoeopathy Council (Amendment) Act, 2025.
2 · Amendment of Section 2. — In Section 2 of the Goa Homoeopathy Council Act, 2001 (Goa Act 63 of 2001) (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Act"),
4 · Amendment of Section 4. — In Section 4 of the principal Act and in all other sections, for the word "Board", wherever it occurs, the word "Council" shall be substituted.
