F . 19(70)/Tpt./Sectt./08/418 , dated the 5 lh May , 2008 , the Commi ssioner Transport , Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi , on being satisfied that it is necessary in the interest of public safety and convenience of the general public to regulate movement of traffic , prohibits the driving of all motor vehicles except authorized Stage Carriage Buses (DTC and Private) on the Bus Rapid Transit Corridor on Dr . Ambedkar Road , Lai Bahadur Shastri Road and J . B . Tito Road , from Dr . Ambedkar Nagar to Moolchand Hospital .Whoever contravenes the above prohibitional restrictions , shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of section 194 of the Act . The above mentioned prohibition/restrictions shall not be applicable during emergent situations to the motor vehicles of Delhi Police , Ambulances , Fire Brigade and other Emergency Service Vehicles , when proceeding on emergency duties .
