C 284 L UTR Hert JHITrY Trvc, 26 favER, 2019 IN pursuancc of (hc provisions of clause (J) of Arlicle 348 of the Constitution, the Govemor is pleascd (0 order the putlicalion of the following English translation of notification no. 3089 [XXXVIII-7 - 2019-296 NREGA-2013, dalcd December 26, 2019: No. 3089 [XXXVIII-7-2019-296NREGA-2013 Daled Lucknow, December 26,2019 WIIEREAS Govemment notification no. 2236XXXVIII-7-2019-296NREGA-2013, dated Scptember 1l, 2019 was issued for the information of the persons concemed and for inviting objections ad suegstions in regard to the Uttar Predesh National Rural Employment Guarantee (compensation for delaycd Payment of wages) Rules, 2019 4s requierd uder sub-section (I) of section 32 of (he National Rurl Employment Guarantcc AcL 2005 (Act n. 42 of 2005); AND; WHEREAS, no objections and suggestions has been rcceived within the stipulated time; NOw; TEREFORE, in exercise of powers under scction 32 of the aforesaid Act lhe Govemnor is pleased to make the following rules THE UTTAR PRADESH NATIONAL RURAL EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE (COMPENSATION FOR DELA YED PAYMENT OF WAGES) RULES, 2019 Sbort 6tk atcnt 1.(I) Thse rules may be called te Unlar Pradesh National Rural Employment 4d Guarantec(Compensation for Deleyed Payment of Wegcs) Rules,2019. commaka (2) They shall extend to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) Thay shall comc into forcc with cffcct from the date of their publication in te Gazette. Defuajtons 2. (I) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requiring (0) "Ac" means the National Rural Employment Guarantce Acl, 2005; (6) "MIS" means online Management Information System established and managed by thc Ministry of Rural Development Govcmuent of India Www nrega nic in; (c) "Program Officer" means the Block Development Officer/ Program Off
