File/G/Y-625 Dated: 65,07,26/9 QRDER It has been brought to the notice of the Department that some FPS Licensees are habitual defaulter in mak ing timely payment ol eost o/ SFAs aloeated t0 them for further distribution t0 beneliciaries. The issue has been raised time and again by DSCSC . In all such cases. the payment has to be made to FCI by DSCSC: The Corporation then has t0 wait for payments before release of SFAs resulting in delay. inconvenience to beneficiaries and financial burden on the Corporation. This practice derails the complete supplv management system of SFAs under TPDS. Therefore, it has been decided that in the event of delayed payment o stipulated cost of" SFAs by an FPS within the preseribed time limil ilS specified in the Depit. orders of allocation: the followving penalties will be iposed On the defaulting FPS under the provisions o" Delhi Specilied Artieles (Regulation of' Distribution) Order: 1981 in 0 particular tinancial Vear; 1 A penalty of" Rs: 5 00o/- will be imposed on the delaulter FPS for delaved pavment for SFAs allotted t0 it for the first month of detauh: 2 In case 0f" default of delaved pavment for SFAs for second month. penalty of Rs. 10. 000/- will be imposed. 3 _ In case of delault of delayed payment for the third month. the license of defaulting FPS will be suspended and the cards attached t the defaulter FPS will be delinked and attached to nearby FPS. and action Under elause 4 of the Control Order: 1981 for !iolation of Govt orders shall be Uaken; In case of non payment of amount due for SFAs allotted t0 a partieular PS OT" non payment ol" penaltie
