THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART III ~SEc. 4] JOINT ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION (FOR THE STATE OF GOA AND UNION TERRITORIES) NOTIFICATION Gurgaon; the IOth October, 2013 No. JERC-11/201O-~In exercise of powers conferred under section 181 of the Electricity Act; 2003 and all other powers enabling it in this behalf; and as per order dated 13.08.2013 in petitions no. 81/2012 ad 106/2013 te JONNT ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION FOR THE STATE OF GOA AND UNION TERRITORIES hereby makes the following amendments in JOINT ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION FOR THE STATE OF GOA & UTs (Electricity Supply Code) Regulations, 2010. Short title and commencement (1) These regulations may be called The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Goa & UTs (Electricity Supply Code) Second Amendment Regulations, 2013. (2) These regulations shall come into force from the date of 'publication in Official Gazette: 2 Amendment of Regulation 6.10 (2) of the principal Regulation is to be replaced as under: Consumer shall have the option to make advance payment and in such an event security amount shall be proportionately fixed The procedure for determination of security deposit; for different categories of consumers, shall be determined by the licensee and approved by the Commission The deposit shall be accepted in the form of Cash; Cheque; draft or Bank Guarantee in case of LT consumers and in the form of draf, banker'$ Cheque or Bank Guarantee in case cf HTIEHT consumers. The Licensee shall maintain separate head of account of such security deposits.
