3 · The following sub rule-K is added after rule-74 (J) of Bihar Motor Vehicle Rule, 1992 as follows (K) () Application fee for Permit of Motorcycle (Motorbike taxi) will be a follows Types of Vehicle Payable Fee Contact Carriage (Casual O Special) Motorbike Taxi Rs. 150 (ii) Fee for approval or renewal Or change of conditions of a permit shall be as follows
4 · To encourage the operation of software based commercial vehicle including Taxi and Motor Bike Taxi, rule 74 (c) of Bihar Motor Vehicle Rule, 1992 is substituted by following "(c) Fee for special permit which is issued under subsection 8 of section 88 of MV Act; 1988 shall be as follows
5 · The following subrules are added after rule 746j) (vii) of Bihar Motor Vehicle Rule. 1992 (viii) Permit fee National permit for goods carriage Rs. 7000 (ix) Application fee of Tourist permit for tourist Rs. 500 vehicle, which is issued under subsection (9) of section 88 of MV Act 1988 Permit fee of Tourist permit for tourist vehicle Rs. 8000 which is issued under subsection (9) of section 88 of MV Act 1988 6. Rule- 31 and Rule- 82 of Bihar Motor Vehicle Rule, 1992 which was amended by rule - 3 of notification no. 2703, dated-22.05.2017 of Transport Department is substituted by following respectively "31. Badge of conductors of the stage carriages A conductor of stage carriage shall display on his left chest a badge in the form illustrated in the Second Schedule, inscribed with the particulars specified in the said schedule. No conductor of a stage carriage shall display the badge held by him if his conductors licence is suspended Or revoked by an authority O if his conductor's licence has ceased to be valid by efflux of time. 3 conductor shall not hold more than one such badge issued by an authority in the state. If at any time a conductor's licence is suspended or cancelled by a competent authority o by any court O ceases to be valid, the conductor shall, within seven days, surrender the badge to the authority by which it was issued:
82 · Renewal of permits or countersignature: - An application for renewal of a permit o a countersignature of a permit shall be made in the form prescribed under rule 70, to the Trasport Authority by which the permit or countersignature of a permit was issued and shall be accompanied by the permit or the countersignature, as the case may be, and the fee prescribed under rule 74. Subject to the provisions of sub-section (9) of Section 52 and sub- section (4) of Section 81, the Transport Authority may renew the permit or the countersignature, as the case may be. 3 The Original Transport Authority which renews a permit may unless any Transport Authority by which the permit has been countersigned has, by general or special resolution, otherwise directed, like-wise renew the countersignature of the permit, and shall intimate the fact of renewal of permit and its countersignature to the Transport Authority by which the permit was originally countersigned. Unless the countersignature is renewed under this rule, it shall be of no effect beyond the date of expiry stated therein. The Original Transport Authority which renews a permit to be operative in any other region O regions in accordance with the provisions of rule 81 shall intimate, the fact of renewal of permit to the Transport Authority of that region O regions The Original Transport Authority which renews a permit to be operative in any other region Or state by way of a countersignature o it, shall intimate, the fact of renewal of permit; to the Transport Authority by which the permit has been countersigned: The Transport Authority which renews a countersignature of a permit under sub-rule (2), shall intimate the fact of renewal of countersignature to the Transport Authority by which the permit was issued. The following Late fee shall be payable if an owner of vehicle fails to apply for renewal within 15 days from the date of expiry of a Temporary Permitl permanent Permit Period Amount of late fee Up to expiry date or within 15 days Rs. 00 of the expiry date (ii) After the date of expiry but within Rs.300 30 days (iii) After 30 days of the date of expiry, Rs. 600 but within 60 days of the date of expiry
