No . APEDA/SEC/GEN/30 . – In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 33 of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act , 1985 (2 of 1986) , the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority , with the previous sanction of the Central Government , hereby makes the regulations to amend the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Regulations , 1999 namely:- 1 . (1) These regulations may be called the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (Amendment) Regulations , 2004 . They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette . 2 . In the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Regulations , 1999 (hereinafter referred to as the said regulations) , for regulation 5 , the following regulation shall be substituted , namely:- "5 . Power of Central Government to call meetings:Notwithstanding anything contained in these regulations , the Central Government may , at any time , call a meeting of the Authority." 3 . In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations , for the words "at lest eight members: , the words "at least ten members" shall be substituted . 4 . In sub-regulation (2) of regulation 10 of the said regulations , for the words "shall have a second or casting vote" , the words "shall have the casting vote " shall be substituted . 5 . 1 · . (1) These regulations may be called the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (Amendment) Regulations , 2004 .

2 · . In the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Regulations , 1999 (hereinafter referred to as the said regulations) , for regulation 5 , the following regulation shall be substituted , namely:-

3 · . In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations , for the words "at lest eight members: , the words "at least ten members" shall be substituted .

4 · . In sub-regulation (2) of regulation 10 of the said regulations , for the words "shall have a second or casting vote" , the words "shall have the casting vote " shall be substituted .

5 · . In sub-regulations (2) of regulation 11 of the said regulations , for the words "shall be a effectual and binding" , the words "shall be effective and binding " shall be substituted .

6 · . In sub-paragraph of sub – regulation (2) of regulation 15 of the said regulations , for the words "every decision of each of the Committees of a policy nature" , the words "every decision of each of the Committees of a policy nature viz . a decision having a permanent bearing on the functioning of the Authority or a recurring financial implication for the Authority" , shall be substituted .

7 · . In sub-regulation (2) of regulation 26 of the said regulations , for the words "shall have a second or casting vote" , the words "the words "having monthly remuneration " shall be substituted .

8 · . In clause (f) of sub-regulation (9) of regulation 28 of the said regulations , for the word "having basic monthly remuneration , "the words "having monthly remuneration " shall be substituted .
