F. No . Adm/Reg/01/89 - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 of the Spices Board Act 1986 , the Spices Board hereby makes the following Regulations , with the previous approval of the Central Government , namely :- 1 . Short title and commencement: 1 . These Regulations may be called the Spices Board (Registration of Exporters) Regulations , 1989 . 2 . They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette . 2 . Definitions: In these Regulations , unless the context otherwise requires: "Act " means the Spices Board Act , 1986 (10 of 1986) . ii) "Board

3 · . Conditions for grant of fresh certificate as Exporter:

1 · . a) An application for grant of certificate under section 12 shall be made to the Secretary of the Board in 'Form 1 ' mentioned in the Rules . Every application shall be accompained by a fee of Rupees two thousand 1 by a crossed demand draft/postal order/M.O . drawn and payable to the Spices Board , Cochin .
