BYE-LAWS OF THE PUNJAB STATE COOPERATIVE LABOUR & CONSTRUCTION FEDERAVIONLILCHANDGARH NAMEALDRESSANDAREA OF OPERATION The Soeiety shall be called the Punjab Stale Cooperative Labour and Construction Federation lud. It shall be referred to hereinalter a5 the Federation: The Headquarter of the Federation shall be Ropar at Chandigarh: Any change in the headquarter may be made by the Board of Direetors of the Federation with the prior approval 0f the Registrar: Cooperative Societies. Punjab. The area 0f operation 0f the Federation shall extend over the entire Punjab State . QRJECTS 4 The objeets of the Federation shall be co-ordinale and facilitate the working of" Cooperative Labour & Construciion Sucieties and Distt, Labour & Construction Unions in the State . Tn the pursuance of this objeet the: Federation may undertake all such measure as are likely t0 assist and promote the organisation and functioning of Labour and Construetion Socielies and Unions. 5 Without prejudice to the peneral provision of the proceeding bye-law. the Federation may undertake one 01 more of the following aetivities: S(i) To help Labour & Construction Societies in securing works from the Government and or other Public and Private Institutions Or from normal trade channels; S(ii) To assisl guide and advise Labour & Construction Societies in the settlement of any dispule which may arise between theni ad Lhe Public Works Department or any other employer: S(iii) To render teehnical advise t0 Labour & Construction Societies in the matter of execution Or work s taken by them: S(iv) To represent the cause of Labour and Construction Socielies in the Stale ard to place their difficullies before various Gov Departments So aS to ensure speedy redress of their grievances.
