8 · b) If the School Board is so satisfied, it may admit the candidate provisionally to the course leading to the Ph.D degree, and at the appropriate time, appoint on the recommendation of the School/Department/Centre concerned, a teacher of the University as an Adviser or Supervisor(s) to guide and supervise the work of the candidate.

5 · (a) Students must obtain a minimum of 40% marks in each course in order to pass M.A,, M.Sc-, MP.A , M.F.A-, MC.A , PG. Diploma in Acting; Advanced Diploma in Telugu, PG. Certificate/Diploma/Advance Diploma in Chinese and Japanese, examination provided that the student, who obtains less than 40% marks in any course taken by him/her; may be permitted to take the supplementary examination in the coursels concerned within four weeks after the commencement of the next semester. Appearance at such examinations shall be allowed only once. Those students who get less than 40% in the supplementary examination shall have to repeat the course concerned or take an equivalent available course with the approval of Head of the Department/Centre and the Dean of the School concerned.
5 · (b) In the case of M.Phil and M.Tech courses, a student must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in each course in order to pass in that course provided that the student who obtains less than 50% marks in any course taken by him/her; may be permitted to take a supplementary examination in the coursels concerned within four weeks after the commencement of the next semester. Appearance at such examinations shall be allowed only once_ Those students who secure less than 50% in the supplementary examination shall have to repeat that course O taken an equivalent available course with the approval of the Head of the Department/Centre and the Dean of the School concerned.

12 · (a) No student of M.AIMSc./MPAIMFA/MCA/PG dip. In Acting IAdvanced diploma in Telugu/P.G. Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Chinese/Japanese courses shall be allowed
12 · (b) No student of the M.Phil/M:Tech course shall be allowed to continue his/her enrollment for more than Four/Five semesters respectively. Also, no M.Phil/M. Tech student will be permitted to work 0 the dissertation/project unless helshe has completed the course work:

14 · The answer scripts of the semester examinations shall not be returned to the candidates but may be shown by the instructor at the specific request of the student concerned: The result of the continuous assessment of the students will, however; be communicated to the students immediately after the assessment.
