LAW AND JUDICIARY DEPARTMENT Madam Cama Marg, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Mantralaya, Mumbai 400 032, dated the 20th June 2018. NOTIFICATION CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, 1973. No. EST-2018/CR-56/Desk-XII.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), in its application to the State of Maharashtra and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf ; and in partial modification of all the earlier notifications issued in this behalf ; in so far as they relate to the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Rajura, in Chandrapur District, the Government of Maharashtra, after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, hereby, with effect from the 23rd June 2018 specifies that.— (a) Korpana in Chandrapur District, to be the place where the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, shall be established ; (b) the Criminal cases arising out of Korpana Police Station area and out of the villages mentioned in Schedule appended hereto, being filed and dealt with by the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Rajura, shall stand transferred to the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Korpana ; and (c) the criminal cases arising out of the villages mentioned in Schedule appended hereto, and falling within the Korpana Police Station area, shall be filed and dealt with by the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Korpana. SCHEDULE List of villages excluded from the jurisdiction of the Court of Judicial Magistrat, First Class, Rajura and included in the jurisdiction of the Court of Judicial Magistrat, First Class, Korpana in Chandrapur District.
