Chandigarh is hereby pleased to make the following rules for facilitating (he working of Miero and Small Enterprises Facilitation Councills (MSEFCIs): Particulars Short title and commencement: These rules may be called the Chandigarh; Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Couneil Rules, 2017. They shall extend t0 the wlole of Union Territory of Chandigarh: They shall come into force from (he dale of their Publication in the Official Gazetle ol" Chandigarh: Definitions: In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires- Act" means the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (27 of 2006); Arbitration and Conciliation Act" means tle Arbitratjon and Conciliation Act. 1996 (26 of 1996). M ~Couucil" means the Chandigarh, Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Councii established by the Union Territory of Chandigarh under section 20) of the Act; (iv) ~Ciairperson means tle Chaitpeiaon of ihie Couieil #Frcited #ler cla"s:' SSub section (1) of section 2 / of the Act; ~Government" mcans thc Government of Union Territory of Chancigarh; in Ulie Department of Industries/MSME.
