Short titlc, commencement and application_ These rules may be called the West Bengal Madrasah Servicc Commission' Recruitment (Selection #nd (1) tRecommendation Ofpersons for Appointment and Transfer to the Posts of Teacher and non-teaching Staft) Rules, 2010. They - shall come into force on the date of their. publicalion in the Officlal Gazette: () Thesc rules shall apply to ail Recognised Non-Govemment Aided Madrasahs in West Bengal 1. Definitions-{I) In thcse rules; urless the context otherwise requires; "Act" means the Wcst Bengal Madrasah-Service Commission-Act, 2008 (West Ben Act XXV of 2008) ; (ji) "Area" means the area in which the Madrasah is situated, wherc vacancies/vacancy exists/s and the same may be a district or sub-division or corporation as may be determined by the Commission (iij) "Category" in relation to a post of l (a) "Tcacher" mcans Headmaster/Hcadmistress, Superintendent, Assistant Tcachcr in the Hons /Post-Graduate, Pass-Graduate 'or Under-Graduate category (b) "non-teaching Staff" means the non-teaching staff as defined in clause (mm) of section 2 of the Act ; (iv) "Certificate" mcans & certificate pa
