(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. In the Punjab Industrial Training (Group 'B') Technical Service Rules, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) in rule 5, in sub-rule (2), for the existing proviso the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:- "Provided that a person possessing Degree or Diploma in Vocational Courses or Engineering or Technology but not possessing National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) shall be appointed to post mentioned at serial number 5 of Appendix-'A', in the Service.
