[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature:] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, of the l7th April, 2008.] An Act to amend the Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Chandernagore Municipal Corporation West Ben, Act Act;, 1990, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; XXXI of 1990. It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: Short title and commencement: 1. (1) This Act may be called the Chandernagore. In section 162 of the Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990, the words "and may impose fees at such rates for consumption beyond such limit" shall be omitted.
