MLVISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AVD FARMERS WELFARE (Department of Agricullure; Ca-operation and Farmers Welfere) NOTIFICATION Vew Delbi; the I6th August 2016 GS.R: 798(E). -In cxercise of the powers confcrred by section 124 of tbe Multi State Co-operative Societies Act 2002(19 af 2002), the Central Govemment hereby makes the following rules turther to amend thc Multi State Ca- operativc Socicties Rules, 2002, namely 1 (I) Tbcse rules may be called tc Multi-State Co-opcrativc Socictics (Amendment) Rules, 2016, (2) Tbey " shall come inlo force on the date of their publication in Ihe Official Gazette. 2 In tlic Multi State Ca-aperative Sacietics Rules, 2002, in rule 3, in sub-rle (U); (i) for clause (b), Ihe following clause shall be subslituled namely ; (6) tbe list of persons wha have contribured t0 the share capital, together with the amoun} contributed by each of them and the admission fce paid by them along ` with their ID-addess proofs duly anested by Ih Chief Promoter () aflcr clausc (c), the following clauses shall be inscrted, namcly ; "(0) primary mult suate co-operative societies having objects &nd functions relating lo credit or having multi-purpose objccts shall be registered initialiy with Iwo States or the Union Tcrritorics as area of operation = (g) sociclies having objccrs and functions relating lo crcdit or _ having multi-purpose abjects sball be roquircd Io submit Ihe following documents, namely (1) Do objection Certificale from thc Registrar of Cooperative Sociclics of tbe gtalcs or tbc union tcmioncs conccrocd wherc Ihc proposcd area of operalion of the society exlcnds; (@i) vcrification certificalc of the background and other crcacntials of thc Chicf Promoler end Promolcrs duly certificd by the Rcgistrar 0f Coopcralivc Sociclics of Ihc Stetc wberc thc Rcgist
