85) Parliamentary Affairs Department NOTIFICATION Jaipur, July 1, 1989 No. F. 701) Sansad/a--In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 read with sub-section (2) of section 4-A of the Rajasthan Leg- islative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act;, 1956 (Rajasthan Act No 6 of 1957), the State Government hereby makes the following rules, namely The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly "Ex-Members (Free Transit by Road Transport Service) Rules, 1989 & Amendment Rule 2019 1 Short title and commencement-(1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly #Ex-Members and family Pensioner (Free Transit by Road Transport Service) Rules, 1989 & Amendment Rules 2019. (2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on Ist day April, 2019. 2 Definition._ An these rules , unless the context otherwise requires: Act means the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act; 1956; Pass means the Identity-Cum-Road Journey Pass issued under rule 3; 76 Ex-Member means person who is a recipient of Or is entitled to pension under section 4-A of the Act; cc) Family Pensioner means the spouse of a deceased Ex Mem- ber and who is entitled to receive Family Pension under Section 4c of the Act. Principal Secretary means the Principal Secretary , Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and includes any officer of the said Assembly and specially empowered by the Speaker to perform the functions of the Secretary under these rules; Service Bus includes all kind of buses run by Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation or buses run 0n contract basis; F7(2)Sansad/2019 dated 3.12.19 86 State Roadways means the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation Service. 3 Ex-Member and Family Pensioner entitled t0 travel on passes ~Subject to the prov
