INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES ACT, 1947 NOTIFICATION THE 20TH DECEMBER, 1971 No. S.O. 56/C.A.-14/47/S-39/71.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act, No. 14 of 1947), the President of India is pleased to direct that the powers exercisable by the State Government under sub-section (1) of section 33-C of the said Act, shall be exercisable also by the Joint Labour Commissioner, Punjab.
