(To BE SUBTUATED BEARING SAME NUMBER AND DATE) GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES (ENERGY BRANCH) QRQER in supersession of the Department of New and Renewable Energy Sources, Government of Punjab, Notification No. 18/6/+3-PE1/791 dated the 19th March; 2015, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 18 of the Eriergy Conservation Act; 2001 (Central Act no 52 of 2001}, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to issue the following directions for efficient use of energy and its conservation, namely: - The use of minimum BEE 2 Star labeled and ISI marked, oil immersed, naturally cooled, three phase and Inon-sealed type out door distribution transtormers by the State Utilities or by any other stake holder as per the latest Government of India, Ministry of Power, Notification No. S.O. 4062(E) dated the 16" December, 2016, and The standard ratings of distribution transformers covered under the BEE star labeling program are 16 KVA to 200 KVA as per Table 2 and 250 KVA to 2500 KVA &8 per Table 3 of tne said notification. This notification shall come into force for future procurement with immediate effect .
