The Arunachal Pradesh Gazette EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 127_ Vol. XIV, Naharlagun, Monday, February 12_ 2007 Magha 23, 1928 (Saka) ARUNACHAL PRADESHMEDICAL COUNCIL RULES, 2006 NOTIFICATION The 254 January, 2007 No. APMC-13/2004_ In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council Act,2004 ( Act No 4 0f2004); the State Medical Council ofArunachal Pradesh with the previous sanction ofthe State Government hereby makes the following rules, namely: - Short title and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council Rules, 2006_ (2) They shall come into force on the date oftheir publication in the Official Gazette_ 2. Definitions In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) Act' means the Arunachal Pradesh Medical CouncilAct, 2004 (Act; 4 of2004); (b) 'Council' means the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council constituted under section 3 of the Act; (c) Employees of the Council' means persons appointed including Registrar under sub-section (1) of section 5 and section 6 of the Act to carry out the purposes of the Act; (d) Member' means a member elected or nominated under section 3,4 and sub-section (1) ofsection 5 of the Act; (C) 'Ministerial Staff" means the Section Officer Superintendent; Accountant, Clerk, Stenographer; Computer Operator; Group-D staff etc. appointed under section 5 ofthe Act; President' means the President of the Council elected or nominated under sub-section (1) (b) of section 3 and sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Act; (g) Vice-President' means the Vice-President of the Council elected or nominated under sub-section (1) (b) of section 3 and sub section (3) of the section 4 of the Act; (h) 'Registrar' means the Registrar of the Council who shall be the ex-offi
