Notification No.61/94 -Customs N.T. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the airport mentioned in column (3) of the Table annexed here to, situated in the State or, as the case may be, the Union territory, specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said table, to be Customs airports for the purpose specified in the corresponding entry in column (4) of the said table. The baggage in tourist chartered flights shall be allowed to be unloaded or loaded at the Airports of Port Blair, Gaya, Srinagar, Indore, Imphal, Bhubaneshwar, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Agra and Bagdogra only if the tour operator gives to the Commissioner of Customs incharge of the airport, an advance notice, about the arrival of such chartered flight of a period of seven days or such shorter period as may be permitted by the Commissioner of Customs Table Dated: 21 - 11 - 94 Notification No. 61/94-Cus.
