1988 · (59of 1988) in the notification ofthe Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping; Road Transport and Highways (Department ofRoad Transport and Highways), No. G.SR. S4S(E), dated thel8th July, 2008 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,Sub-section (i) dated the I8th July, 2008, inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby, before the expiry of sixty days from the date on which copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public;
1 · (1) These rules m: v be called the Central Motor Vehicles (All India Permit for ourist Transport Operators) Amendment Rules,2009. (2) They shall com : into force on the date of their publication in the Official ( 'azette. 2. In the Motor Vehicies (All India Permit for Tourist Transport Operators) Rule s, 1993,after rule 15,the following rule shall be added, nantely "16. Conformity t0 mas3 emission standards The Tourist Transport Cperator shall not engage or use any vehicle for th : purpose ofjoumey, lhe origin and destination ( f which falls within the National Capital Reg.On, unless such vehicle conforms to the mass (mission standards (Bharat Stage-III) specified in sub-rule (14) ofrule 115 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
