F.13(1) VS DES/2006 ~In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 read with clause (f) of sub-section 1 of section 2 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act; 1969(18 of 1969), the Lt: Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi with the approval of the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules; 1999, namely RULES 1 Short title; extent and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules 2006. They shall extend to the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi They shall be deemed to come into force with immediate effect. 2= (1) Amendment of Form No. 1- In the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules 1999, (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Rules, in Form Vo. 1, after entry 5, the following entries shall be inserted, namely 5 A- Permanent Address of Parents; 5 B- Address of Parents at the time of birth of child. 2) Amendment of Form No. 2_ In the principal Rules; in Form No.2, after entry 2(A); the following entries shall be inserted namely 2 B- Name of mother of deceased; 2 C - Permanent Address of deceased 2 D- Address of Deceased at the time of Death;' (3 )Amendment of form No. 5- In the principal Rules; for form No.5 the following form shall be substituted; namely 4O 10 Fomm-5 7cu TFTH &,frtt RRaR Emblem Emblem GOVERNMENT OF NATIONAL CAPITAL TERRITORY OF DEL

1 · Short title; extent and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules 2006. They shall extend to the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi They shall be deemed to come into force with immediate effect. 2= (1) Amendment of Form No. 1- In the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules 1999, (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Rules, in Form Vo. 1, after entry 5, the following entries shall be inserted, namely 5 A- Permanent Address of Parents; 5 B- Address of Parents at the time of birth of child.
