I ch I~ ~ ii ii _, _, I h\ I I :: . ~ ' ~ ' ~ 26 . 2012 -~ 6 , ~ 1934 ~ fcf' f' rr = , clffi ' ll ' l . lcfl , qfll ~ Bhopal , the 26th April 2012 No . 3416 -XIIl -2012 . -In exercise of powers conferred by sub section (1) , (2) and (5) of Section 131 of the Electricity Act , 2003 (Act No . 36 of 2003) read with sub section (1) and (2) of Section 23 of the Madhya Pradesh Vidyut Sudhar Adhiniyam , 2000 , the Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby notifies and give effect to the merger of Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board , (hereinafter called the Board) a Board constituted under section 5 of the Electricity (Supply) Act , 1948 with M . P . Power Management Company Limited, a Company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act , 1956 and a Government of Madhya Pradesh Undertaking with transfer and vesting of all the residual properties , interest in properties , r ights , liabilities , functions , activities and proceedings which has remained with the said Board after giving effect to its re -organisation in terms of the Transfer Scheme and Rules earlier notified and Orders issued in respect thereof for all intent and purposes . It is hereby further notified and directed that in terms of sub section (7) of Section 131 of the Electricity Act , 2003, the said Board shall cease to be charged with and shall not perform the functions and duties with regard to any aspect of the electricity on and after the date of this Notification and the Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board shall stand wound up without liquidation .
