GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE SERVICES WELFARE (DEFENCE WELFARE BRANCH) Notification The 1st September, 2015 No. 14/3/2015-3DSWI578654/1- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 31 of the Punjab Ex-servicemen Corporation Act , 1978 (Punjab Act No. 33 of 1978) ad with the previous approval of the State Government; the Punjab Ex-Servicemen Corporation makes the following regulations further t0 amend the Punjab Ex-Servicemen Corporation (General and Expenditure) Regulations, 1992,namely These Regulations may be called the Punjab Ex-Servicemen Corporation (a) (General and Expenditure) (First Amendment) , Regulations, 2015. (b) They shall come into force with effect from 01 September, 2015. 2_ In the Punjab Ex-Servicemen Corporation (General and Expenditure) Regulations, 1992, the existing Regulation 4(1) shall be substituted as follows: Tenders to be called (1) Except in the circumstances mentioned in clause (2) of this Regulatiorernc article of dead stock; stationery Or stores involving total expendietraloromnore one instance may be purchased by Or on behalf of the than 10,000/- rupees in any Corporation unless a) (i) Quotations therefore have been called from at least three reputed firmsl or contractors involving total expenditure up to Rs 50,000/- in any suppliers one instance; The purchase is made by the spot purchase committee constituted amongst the officers of the Corporation by the Managing Director for the total Rs 50,000/- but not exceeding Rs 2 lac in any one expenditure exceeding instance; Tenders therefore have been called through Public Notice for the (iii) expenditure exceeding Rs 2 lac in any one instance; Or b) Market survey should not be on line; it should be through open market before on line purchase through internet in case of brande
