NestBen WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Calcutta University Act, 1966; 1966. for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows 1. This Act may be called the Calcutta University (Amendment) Short title. Act; 1973. 2. In sub-section (1) of section 37 of the Calcutta University Act, Amenment 1966, the proviso shall be omitted of section 37 of West Ben_ Act II of 1966. 89
