CENTRAL POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD (Ministry of Environment & Forests) NOTIFICATION New Delhi; the 23rd October; 2002 CHANDIGARH POLLUTION CONTROL COMMITTEE '[S.0.1131(E): In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 Clause (4) of the Water (Prevertion and Control of Pollution) Act; 1974 (Act No.6 of 1974) and Section 6 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act; 1981 (Act No. 14 of 1981), the Cenlral Pollution Control Board hereby reconstitutes the Committee as specified by the Central Government; whose constitution was notified by Notificalion published in the Gazette of India vide S.O.199(E); dated 15.3.1991 in respect of the Union Territory of Chandigarh: The reconstituted Committee is as follows: 1 . Advisor to Acministrator Union Territory, Chandigarh Chairperson 2. Secretary, (Ertvironment) Chandigarh Administration Vice Chairman Reconstituted by the Notification S.0.113(E), dated 23.10.2002 . €= 7 126 Notifications under the Water (Prevention and Cohtrol ofPollution) Act,'1974 3 _ Director (Environient) Chandigarh Administration {: a Member 4 Deputy Conservator of Forests Forest Department, Chandigarh Administration 7204-*06 Member 5_ Additional Director (PCP) Central Pollution Control Board Delhi 147" Member 6. (i) This Comiiltee shall be called as the Chandigarh Pollutior Committee for the Union Territory of Chandigarh: (ii) This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
