Government of Punjab Department of New & Renewable Energy Sources (Energy Branch) No. 18/6/13-PE1/ 9 / % ~b “re (7]2) ~~ in exercise of the powers Ce under Section 18 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to issue the following directions for the efficient use of energy and it's conservation in the State of Punjab regarding the mandatory use of minimum BEE 4 Star labeled and ISI marked Re distribution transformers within the State of Punjab. ene oo ————$ The use of minimum BEE 4 Star labeled and ISI marked, oil immersed, naturally cooled, three phase and non-sealed type out-door distribution transformers shall be mandatory for installing any new electricity transformer by the State Utilities or by any other stake holder. |The standard ratings of distribution transformers covered under the BEE Star labeling program are 16,25,63,100,160 and 200 KVA and nonstandard rating from 16 KVA io 200 KVA.
