O . 1200 (E) . -In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 8 read with Subsection (1) of Section 10 of the Competition Act , 2002 (12 of 2003) , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Dipak Chatterji as Chairperson of the Competition Commission of India for a period of five years from the date on which he enters upon his office , or till he attains the age of sixty-seven years , whichever is earlier .
