[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature:] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 6th October; 1989.] [6th October 1989.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Housing Board Act, 1972. West Ben_ Act XXXII of [972 WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Housing Board Act, 1972, for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Fortieth Year of the Republic of India; by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows_ 1_ This Act may be called the West Bengal Housing Board Short title (Amendment) Act, 1989. and commen- cement _ (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 30th day of June, 1989. 2. In clause (8) of section 2 of the West Bengal Housing Board Act; Amendrent 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), after the words 'under of section 2 of West Ben: this Act" the words, figures and brackets and includes any housing Act XXXII scheme entrusted to the Board by the State Government under sub-section of 1972 (2) of section 17" shall be inserted and shall be deemed always to have been inserted. 3 In sub-section (2) of section 17 of the principal Act, after the Amendment words any housing scheme the words whether provided for by this of section [7, Act or not; shall be inserted and shall be deemed always t0 have been inserted_ West Ben_ Ord.
