[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta d p Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 18th July, 1967.] [18th July, 1967.] An Act to amend the Calcutta University Act, 1966. is expedient to amend the Calcutta University Act, 1966, for the purpose and in the manner WHEREAS it hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Eighteenth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows :- - This Act may be called the Calcutta University (Amendment) Act, 1967. In sub-section (3) of section 58 of the Calcutta University Act, 1966 (hereinafter referred to as the said "not exceeding eighteen months" shall be substituted. (1) The Calcutta University (Amendment) Ordi- () nance 1967, is hereby repealed. Anything done or any action taken under the said this Act had commenced on the 18th day of April, 1967.
