West Ben_ Act V of 1972 WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Taxes on Entry of Goods into Calcutta Metropolitan Area Act, 1972, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; AND WHEREAS previous sanction of the President under thc proviso to clause (b) ofarticle 304 of the Constitution of India has been obtained; It is hereby enacted in the Thirtieth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: _ 13 This Act may be called the Taxes on Entry of Goods into Calcutta Short title Metropolitan Area (Amendment) Act, 1979. 2_ For the Schedule to the Taxes on Entry of Goods into Calcutta Substitution of new Metropolitan Area Act, 1972, the following Schedule shall be Schedule substituted _ for the Schedule to West Ben.
