NQTIFC A TIO N Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority, 105, High Court, PWD Building; Mumbai 400 032. Date 30th June, 2022 Legal Services Authorities Act,_1987 No.MSLSA/2022/1805. In pursuance to the Executive Committee meeting of Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority dated 4th May 2022 and in exercise of powers conferred by Section 29-A of the Legal Services Authorities act, 1987 (39 of 1987), Maharashtra State Legal Services is hereby pleased to make the following regulations to amend the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority Regulations, 1998 for the purposes of giving effect to the provisions of the said Act, namely: - 1. In the regulation 18 of the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority Regulation 1998 (hereinafter referred to as the "the principal regulations ) following points at (AJ, (B), and (C) of the Schedule shall be substituted 18. Honorarium payable to legal practitioners on panel and others: _ Schedule [see Regulation 18(1) ] JAJFORHGHCOURT HONORARIUM (PROFESSIONAL FEES) PAYABLE TO THE ADVOCATES ON THE PANEL Drafting (Civil Matters-Common For Appellate and Original Side) Sr Description of Work Recommended Fee Schedule No_ Drafting and Tiling of substantive Rs.6,000/- per case. pleadings such as Writ Petition; Appeal; (In group/connected batch matters Or' Plaint; Cross Appeal, Cross Objection, substantially similar matters the Advocate will Written Statement; Counter Claim; be entitled to an additional drafting fee of" affidavit in reply Or rejoinder in Rs.3,UU/- per case subjcct to maximum tolal substantive proceedings of Rs.9,500/- per group of connected cases) An amount of Rs.3,000/- shall be paid to Panel Advocate as advance payment of fees.
