Imphal (Manipur) ORDINANCE Imphal, the 20th February. 1995 No. 2 of 1995 No. VC.CAU.14(ESTABLIS)/93: Whereas the approved Expenditure Finance Committee Memo along with addendum in respect of the sanction of the Central Aaricultural - University scheme under the VIllth Five-Year Plan_as.sammunicated by the :Mint Secretary Department of Agricultural Research and Education and Secretary Indian. Council of Aaricultural Research 'vide their letter number 1(2)192-RI and Mi Part III). dated the 13th October. 1993, provides for the establishinenteof a College of the Central Agricultural University, Imphal. And whereas the GoveVnment of Mizoram has transferred the land measuring 168.61 acres to the Central Agricultural University at Selesih. for establishment Of the College of Veterinary Science vide notification number D.11011,11:92-.AH&D, dated the 1st November. 1994. And whereas the Government of India in the Department of Agricultural Research and -Education/Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has approved .the-making of the first Ordinance regarding the establishment and management of the College of Veterinary Seience at Selesih in Mizoram -vide its letter number 42-1194-Edn. IV, dated:31st January, 1995. ' Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by.sub-section (2) read with clause (k), (o) and (2) of sub-section (1) of section 27 of the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (40 of 1992), and with the previous approval of the Central Coyemrnent, I. the Vice-Chancellor of the Central Agricultural University. 4 · The said College initially shall have an intake capacity of 22 students. including those to he admitted as per the provisions/nominations made he 'Veterinary. Council of India:ICAR and the Mimii-t -ter of students may he increased to a maximum of 40.
