GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act VII of 1995 THE CHANDERNAGORE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (AMENDMENT) ACT; 1995. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature:] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary of the 17th April, 1995.] [I7th April, 1995.] An Act to amend the Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act;, 1990, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 1. (1) This Act may be called the Chandernagore Municipal Short title Corporation (Amendment) Act; 1995. and commence - (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 3Oth day of ment: December; 1994. In clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Chandernagore Amendment Municipal Corporation Act; 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the principal of section 5 of West Ben, Act), for the word "thirty-five the word "twenty-five" shall be Act XXXII substituted of 1990.
