NR2(E) . <Uitc<l the HUh DcceiDbcr , 1988 , the Central Government gH\'cnotitc <>t iK intention to add i|i:> . occupatiori an d processes specified in the said notification to the Schedule of the f-liil* ' Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act , 198(i (fil of 1986) , as required under section 4 of the said Act ; And whereas , the period of three months specified in the said section has expired; Now , therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the said Act , the Central Government hereby adds the following occupation and processes in the Schedule to the said Act , namely :— In the Schedule to the said Act , — in Part A , after item . (5) and the entry relating thereto , the following item and entry shall be inserted , namely :— " (0) Work relating to selling of crackers and fire, works in shops with temporary licences. " ; in Part B , after item (11) and the entry relating thereto , the fol -lowing items and entries shall be inserted , namely :-- "(12) Manufacture of slate pencils (including packing) . (IS) Manufacture of products from agate . (U) Manufacturing Processes using toxic metals and substances such as lead , mercury , manganese , chromium , cadmium , benzene , pes -ticides and asbestos." . [F . No .
