UTTAR PRADESH SHASAN PARIVAHAN ANUBHAG-3 No.- 23/543/30-3-15-78M/2014 Lucknow; dated March 13, 2015 Notification For prevention and reduction of road accidents, the Governor is pleased to constitute a Divisional Road Safety Committee at the division level to monitor and supervise the implementation of the decisions taken by the District level Road Safety Committee, in addition to constituted the State level Road Safety Council and the District level Road Safety Committee, respectively under Sections 215(2) and 215(3) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988:- (2) This Committee will review the decisions taken by the District Road Safety Committee constituted at the district level. Together with It will also supervise/monitor the compensation received by affected persons in road accidents from various sources and submit its recommendations to the State Road Safety Committee as per needed. Meeting of this Committee will be three times in a year at least, and the Committee will determine the procedure adopted in meetings itself. Kumar Arvind Singh Dev, Principal Secretary.
