OTIFICATIO 0.F.3(3)/F&S/P&C/2020/1481-95.- The following otification .0.1087 (E) dated the 13 th March 2020 issued by Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, section 3-sub-section (ii) is hereby republished for general information. By order and in the name of Lieutenant Governor of the ational Capital Territory of Delhi (Ankita Mishra Bundela) Secretary-cum-Commissioner Food Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department Go ernment ofIndia Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (Department of Consumer Affairs) OTIFICATIO ew Delhi, the 13 th March, 2020 .O.1087( )._In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 2A, of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order, to regulate the production, quality, distribution, logistics of masks (2ply & 3ply surgical masks 95 masks) & hand sanitizers (for COVill 19 management) namely :- (1) This order may be called the Essential Commodities Order, 2020. It hall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. In the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, in the Schedule, after serial o. (7) the following item shall b added, namely:- "(8) masks (2ply & 3ply surgical masks, 95 masks) & hand sanitizers".
