‍ ‍‍‍22 , , 1947 - 12 , 2025 Jyaistha 22, Thursday, Saka 1947- June 12, 2025 ‍4‍() ‍‍(I) ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍(‍‍‍ ‍ ) ‍ Consumer Affairs Department NOTIFICATION Jaipur, June 10, 2025 G.S.R.30 . -In exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (Central Act No. 1 of 2010) and after consultation with the Central Government, the State Government proposes to make the following amendment in the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011. The following draft rules are hereby published as required by subsection (4) of section 53 of the said Act, for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given to them that the said draft rules would be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of fifteen days from the date on which the copies of this notification as published in the Official Gazette are made available to the public. Any objection or suggestion which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the expiry of the period as specified above shall be considered by the State Government. The objection or suggestion to these draft rules, if any, may be send to the Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Rajasthan Government Secretariat Jaipur Rajasthan. Draft Rules Short title and commencement . -(1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) (Draft Amendment) Rules, 2025. They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. Amendment of rule 11. -In rule 11 of the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011,- (i) after the existing sub-rule (2) and before the existing sub-rule (3), the following new sub -rule (2A) shall be inserted, namely:- "(2A) On submission of duly completed application fo
